Marketing Operations Associate

AARP Services, Inc., founded in 1999, is a wholly-owned taxable subsidiary of AARP. AARP Services manages the provider relationships for and performs quality control oversight of the wide range of products and services that carry the AARP name and are made available by independent providers as benefits to AARP’s millions of members. The provider offers currently span health products, financial products, travel and leisure products, and life event services. Specific products include Medicare supplemental insurance; credit cards, auto and home, mobile home and motorcycle insurance, life insurance and annuities; member discounts on rental cars, cruises, vacation packages and lodging; special offers on technology and gifts; pharmacy services and legal services. AARP Services also engages in new product development activities for AARP and provides certain consulting services to outside companies.

The Marketing Operations Associate provides support to marketing operations projects. Supports multi-channel marketing plans meant to promote the organization and its products, programs, or services. Works with cross-functional creative teams and business liaisons to implement marketing content multi-platform production projects to inform, educate, and influence both internal and external audiences. Measures and analyzes campaign results to determine ROI.

Responsibilities:

• Supports multi-channel marketing plans on behalf of clients.
• Supports product development projects throughout the development cycle.
• Collects, organizes, and distributes internal content and tools.
• Maintains a variety of project management and communications tools for sales and marketing.
• Coordinates creative services production schedules, vendors, and workflows in accordance with department objectives.
• Assists the Research and Insights team with the development of presentations, sell sheets and other special projects.
• Provide the Creative Services team with project management support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years of relevant job-related experience.
• Working knowledge of the advertising and media industry.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Ability to learn and effectively use technical systems, software, and new technologies.
• Strong proficiency with numerical data and data tables.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and competing priorities effectively.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Proficiency using AI tools to maximize efficiency and productivity, along with a can-do attitude.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of syndicated research.
