It now operates four large businesses: diagnostics, including the point-of-care and molecular testing that scaled during the pandemic, medical devices spanning cardiac rhythm, structural heart, neuromodulation and continuous glucose monitoring, nutrition brands such as Similac and Ensure, and established pharmaceuticals sold mainly in emerging markets. The company is headquartered in North Chicago, Illinois, and separated its research-based drug business as AbbVie in 2013.

Our portfolio of life-changing technologies spans the spectrum of healthcare, with leading businesses and products in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals and branded generic medicines.
