TERRITORY MANAGER LAAO
French-speaking Switzerland (Romandie Region), Switzerland (Home Office-based)
In this exciting commercial and clinical role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of your assigned territory while promoting the adoption of innovative therapies for Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO). In addition, you will support customers through your clinical and technical expertise in Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE), working closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Your Responsibilities
- Independently manage all assigned accounts and ensure achievement of territory objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase procedure volumes, revenue, and market share.
- Lead pricing, contract, and purchasing negotiations and support tender processes.
- Position and defend Abbott's pricing strategy and the clinical value of our solutions.
- Analyze market and competitor activities and identify new business opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with physicians, hospital management, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and support local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Drive the adoption and utilization of LAAO therapies and imaging-guided workflows, with a focus on Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE).
- Provide technical and clinical support during LAAO procedures in catheterization laboratories and hybrid operating rooms.
- Assist with pre-procedural planning, case reviews, and clinical discussions.
- Conduct product, therapy, and application training programs for physicians, nursing staff, and cath lab teams.
- Advise on imaging applications and support intra-procedural imaging activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Clinical Affairs, Customer Service, Tender Management, and other functional teams.
- Maintain CRM and Salesforce data, develop forecasts, and help ensure optimal product availability.
- Manage consignment inventory and ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
Your Profile
- University degree in life sciences, biomedical sciences, medicine, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Several years of experience within the medical device industry.
- Proven experience supporting interventional cardiology procedures and collaborating with interventional cardiologists.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO), both from a commercial and clinical/technical perspective.
- Experience working with electrophysiologists and electrophysiology programs is an advantage.
- Practical experience in catheterization laboratory and/or hybrid operating room environments.
- Solid understanding of cardiac imaging workflows, including pre-procedural planning and intra-procedural imaging.
- Experience with Intracardiac Echocardiography (ICE) is preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and account management skills.
- Self-motivated, structured, and results-oriented working style.
- Customer-focused team player with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the French-speaking region of Switzerland.
