The Opportunity
As the Trade Marketing Manager - Ecommerce, you will be responsible for developing and executing e-commerce trade strategies to drive sales, market share, and channel development.
This role involves close collaboration with the brand and sales teams to optimize sales, market share, trade plans and promotion efficiency, channel development, and retailer partnerships. The role requires strong analytical, commercial and operational skills to identify growth opportunities while driving customer and consumer experience across multiple online touchpoints.
What You'll Do
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop trade marketing strategies and drive e-commerce execution excellence to achieve targeted sales, market share and commercial objectives.
- Develop platform-specific growth plans to drive sales, traffic, conversion, and profitability.
- Drive effective promotion and pricing strategies.
- Lead monthly e-commerce campaigns, eventing calendars, and commercial plans to drive sales growth.
Market Analysis & Insights
- Monitor competitor activities, assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to derive actionable insights.
- Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and shopper trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Leverage platform and shopper data to improve campaign effectiveness and business performance.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with brand, sales teams and multiple commercial functions to align trade marketing strategies and plans.
- Collaborate with customers and digital agencies to ensure effective execution and optimization of media investments and commercial initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Consolidate platform and company KPI dashboards to provide timely performance insights and recommendations.
- Monitor key digital metrics including traffic, conversion, ROAS, customer acquisition, and sales performance.
- Lead campaign reviews and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
Budget Management
- Manage, monitor and track the full-year trade marketing budget to ensure monthly targets remain on track.
- Optimize budget efficiency and productivity through monthly reviews.
Requirements
Education
- Degree holder in a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.
- Relevant industry experience is an advantage.
- E-commerce knowledge is preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
