Overview of role

Location: Belfast

Annual Salary: £43,903 - £45,903 + Sign on Bonus

We’re looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our Belfast workshop. You’ll be hands-on every day, inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicles, trailers and related equipment - working to set schedules and safe working procedures to keep the fleet moving.

You would be working a dates/lates rotational shift pattern. This is a solid role with good pay and benefits working within a great team.

Key Accountabilities

Maintenance and repairs are carried out to meet company and VOSA standards.
Carry out duties in a manner consistent with established safety, environmental and maintenance procedures.
Achieve shift KPI’s by working in an efficient and effective manner.
Comply with safety procedures, highlighting any non-compliance issues.
Assist the VMU Co-ordinator / FLM to liaise with the Transport and Logistics departments about vehicle availability.
To ensure that established sub-contractors are effectively utilised.
