As an Electrical Network Analyst (Project-Based), you will analyze feeder network information and technical distribution data to perform comprehensive systems loss analysis and improve efficiency for the distribution utility.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Systems Loss & Feeder Analysis: Analyze feeder network information and electrical distribution technicalities to identify methods for reducing systems loss across the distribution utility.
Data Querying & Processing: Extract, query, and manipulate large cloud-based datasets from PostgreSQL databases containing over 1 million records using advanced SQL logic and mathematical formulas.
Distribution Efficiency Reporting: Generate detailed technical reports identifying specific grid areas, equipment, and operational practices to enhance electrical energy distribution efficiency.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
Strong Data Analyst: Skilled at treating, translating, and interpreting large volumes of technical data into practical engineering insights.
Database & Query-Savvy: Experienced in building SQL queries, conditional formulas, and data structures to process high-volume datasets efficiently.
Systems Loss & Grid-Minded: Possesses a solid understanding of power distribution systems and the technical mechanics of supplying electricity to end users.
Agile & Fast Learner: Demonstrates high learning ability with the capacity to pick up new tools, database environments, or programming languages rapidly.
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
License / Certification: Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
Experience: Preferably at least two (2) years of relevant experience in electrical network analysis, data analytics, or distribution engineering.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
Driver's License: A valid driver's license is nice to have (role is based in Tagum).
