Reporting to the Head of IS Production & Value Chain, this position is responsible for leading the newly established IS Infrastructure & Technology Switzerland team.

As IS Team Lead Infrastructure & Technology Switzerland (m/f/d), you will be accountable for the overall delivery, performance, strategy and continuous improvement of all local IS infrastructure and technology services supporting Swiss operations and manufacturing activities.

The scope includes IS Local IT Services, IS Factory IT Infrastructure, IS Networks, IS Datacenter & Hosting Services, IS Workplace Technologies for the shopfloor, High Performance Computing (HPC), IS Cybersecurity, IS Vendor Service Management, IS Factory Technology Services and related operational technologies.

This role combines people leadership, technology leadership, strategic planning, operational oversight and organizational development. While operational execution may be performed by senior specialists, service managers and external service providers, the IS Team Lead remains ultimately accountable for service quality, operational stability, strategic direction and successful delivery across all local IS Infrastructure & Technology domains.

Beyond operational excellence, the IS Team Lead is expected to act as a thought leader for IS Infrastructure & Technology topics, proactively identifying emerging technologies, innovation opportunities and future capabilities that strengthen Accelleron's competitiveness, resilience and digital transformation journey.

Your Responsibilities:

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead, coach and develop the IS Infrastructure & Technology Switzerland team.
  • Build a high-performance culture based on trust, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Develop future organizational capabilities, competencies and succession plans.
  • Create an environment that promotes innovation, ownership and entrepreneurial thinking.

Strategy, Innovation & Technology Leadership

  • Define and continuously evolve the IS Infrastructure & Technology strategy for Switzerland in alignment with business priorities and global IS strategy.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that support manufacturing, shopfloor, service center, test center and transformation requirements.
  • Drive innovation, automation, digitalization and service optimization initiatives across Infrastructure & Technology services.
  • Act as a thought leader by evaluating emerging technologies and translating relevant opportunities into business value.
  • Provide strategic guidance to business stakeholders and senior management, including long-term investment planning and annual budgeting.

Demand, Portfolio & Business Engagement

  • Own intake, evaluation and prioritization of IS Infrastructure & Technology demands, translating business requirements into roadmaps and implementation plans.
  • Balance strategic initiatives, operational requirements, available resources, priorities, risks and dependencies.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, the IS Factory & Digitalization Team CH, production sites, shopfloor teams, the service center and the test center.
  • Act as a key partner to IS Factory & Digitalization Team CH as business interface and continuous source of infrastructure requirements for manufacturing, shopfloor and digitalization needs.
  • Support strategic programs and transformation initiatives across Accelleron.

Service Governance & Operational Accountability

  • Own the overall performance, health, stability and secure operation of IS Infrastructure & Technology services in Switzerland.
  • Monitor service performance, establish improvement plans and ensure required services are delivered by internal teams and external providers.
  • Own Major Incident Management and act as escalation point for critical local service and operational issues.
  • Ensure business continuity, resilience, disaster recovery and operational risk requirements are met.
  • Be accountable for the local implementation of global Cybersecurity and IS Infrastructure guidelines, ensuring that required standards, controls and policies are effectively embedded in Swiss infrastructure operations, factory IT, shopfloor and technology services, while clearly escalating where local business-critical requirements interfere with global standards or require pragmatic local adaptations.
  • Manage operational costs and support financial planning, forecasting and service governance activities.

IS Infrastructure & Technology Services

  • Oversee the operation, reliability and continuous development of local IS infrastructure services.
  • Ensure reliable LAN, WAN, wireless, internet, hosting and datacenter operations in collaboration with external providers.
  • Ensure effective lifecycle management of IS infrastructure assets, documentation, security controls and technology standards.
  • Support the development and operation of High Performance Computing (HPC) capabilities and future IS infrastructure needs for business growth and transformation.
  • Align IS infrastructure services with manufacturing, shopfloor, service center and test center requirements.

Your Background & Skills:

  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Several years of leadership experience within Infrastructure, Technology or IT Operations environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies including networking, datacenter services, hybrid cloud environments, workplace technologies and manufacturing-related IT environments.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in complex operational environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to define strategy while ensuring execution and delivery.
  • Strong background in IT Service Management, including practical experience with ITIL-based processes such as incident, problem, change, request and service level management.
  • Experience driving transformation, organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Experience managing external vendors, strategic partners and related service contracts, including commercial agreements, service obligations and performance follow-up.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Fluent English communication skills; German is strongly preferred.
