As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and collaboration with different teams to maintain service reliability and address challenges promptly and effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues and minimize downtime.

- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.

- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and support efficiency.

- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Kubernetes.

- Experience with container orchestration and management in cloud and on-premise environments.

- Strong understanding of system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools related to Kubernetes clusters.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, scaling, and networking within Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with automation and scripting to streamline support tasks and improve operational workflows.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Kubernetes.

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
