As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands continuous alignment of technical solutions with organizational goals, fostering collaboration among team members, and driving the delivery of scalable and efficient software products that support business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain code quality and system performance.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance overall team capability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Strong expertise in data modeling, report development, and dashboard creation using Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Experience in optimizing data workflows and enhancing performance within business intelligence platforms.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Familiarity with integrating Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI) with various data sources and enterprise systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data visualization and reporting.
Must have:
-8-12 years overall BI/Data experience
-5+ years Power BI administration/security
-Strong AD / IAM knowledge
-Strong SQL and Data Warehouse knowledge
-Experience implementing RLS and OLS at enterprise scale
-Experience in Banking or Financial Services
-Experience working with Data Governance and CISO teams
-Comfortable engaging Data Owners, Risk, Compliance, and Audit stakeholders
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8-12 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
