As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all components align effectively. - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize data platform architecture to enhance performance and scalability.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support continuous learning and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to align data platform strategies with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data models that support complex business requirements.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database systems to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and engineering teams to integrate data solutions.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices to maintain data quality and compliance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
