The opportunity
Based in Ballarat, we are seeking an experienced GFx Management Consultant to support the successful delivery of complex programs and projects.
In this role, you will work across multiple workstreams, helping coordinate dependencies, maintain effective governance and ensure initiatives remain aligned with their intended business outcomes. You will partner with project leaders and diverse stakeholders to manage priorities, address delivery challenges and support informed decision-making.
This opportunity would suit a highly organised and outcomes-focused consultant with experience across project delivery, program coordination and PMO environments.
Key responsibilities
Support the end-to-end delivery of programs and projects to achieve defined business outcomes.
Coordinate activities and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
Monitor project scope, milestones, deliverables and delivery progress.
Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations, communicate updates and resolve delivery challenges.
Identify and monitor project risks, issues, dependencies and actions.
Support the development and implementation of appropriate mitigation strategies.
Prepare governance materials, status reports and other project documentation.
Ensure project activities align with established PMO frameworks, governance standards and compliance requirements.
Facilitate collaboration between project teams, business stakeholders and leadership.
Help manage competing priorities while maintaining momentum across complex initiatives.
What you’ll bring
Demonstrated experience in project delivery, program coordination, management consulting or a PMO environment.
Strong knowledge of project-management and PMO practices.
Experience coordinating dependencies across multiple teams or workstreams.
The ability to define and monitor project scope, milestones, deliverables and outcomes.
Strong risk, issue and action-management capabilities.
Excellent organisation, planning and problem-solving skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities within a complex delivery environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence engaging and building relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
A collaborative, adaptable and outcomes-focused approach.
Mandatory requirements
Due to the secure nature of this position, applicants must:
Be Australian citizens.
Hold an active Australian Government NV1 security clearance.
Be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
