Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP Senior Consultant with 9-15 years of experience to support complex Manufacturing transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong SAP PP functional expertise with knowledge of production planning, manufacturing execution, master data, and integration across the broader SAP Supply Chain landscape.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA PP solutions across Discrete and Repetitive Manufacturing environments.
Participate in requirements gathering, fit-to-standard workshops, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Design and optimize production planning, production order, BOM, routing, material master, and manufacturing execution processes.
Support integration between SAP PP and MES platforms, including validation of standard SAP manufacturing interfaces.
Support BOM structure, alternative BOMs, substitute materials, revision handling, and Engineering Change Management requirements.
Support manufacturing traceability and control through batch management, batch determination, and revision-related processes.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI, GenAI, automation, and analytics to improve PP processes.
Support integration of SAP manufacturing processes with IBP, PLM, QM, MM, MES, BTP, and external reporting or analytics platforms.
Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, improved controls, and better operational visibility.
Support functional documentation, testing, defect resolution, user training, and deployment activities.
Must have skills: The candidate should have 9-15 years of SAP experience strong functional experience in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP), with hands-on experience supporting end-to-end implementation and transformation programs. Strong knowledge of Discrete Manufacturing, Repetitive Manufacturing, production orders, BOMs, routings, material master, batch management, and manufacturing execution processes is required. English proficiency at C1 level is required.
Good to have skills: Experience working with manufacturing or Medical Devices clients is highly valued. Exposure to MES integrations, SAP BTP, IBP, PLM, Master Data Governance, batch traceability, engineering change management, and manufacturing analytics will be considered an advantage.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP).
Hands-on experience with Discrete Manufacturing and Repetitive Manufacturing processes.
Strong knowledge of production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, material master, batch management, and production execution.
Experience with BOM revisions, Engineering Change Management, alternative BOMs, substitute materials, and follow-on material processes.
Knowledge of manufacturing integration with MES, QM, MM, IBP, and PLM.
Understanding of batch traceability, batch characteristics, batch determination, and revision control.
Exposure to SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, APIs, and external system integrations is highly valued.
Experience supporting end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programs.
Experience in Medical Devices or other complex / regulated manufacturing environments is considered a strong advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, client-facing, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Technology teams.
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree completed; MBA is highly desirable
