Lead Applied Data Scientist

We're hiring a Lead Applied Data Scientist with 4.6-7 years of experience to join a global, data-driven organization transforming how businesses leverage customer analytics and machine learning to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy advanced machine learning and statistical models to solve complex business challenges.
• Build predictive models and customer analytics solutions that drive business impact.
• Translate business problems into scalable data science solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.
• Work on end-to-end model development, validation, deployment, and optimization.

Requirements:

• 4.6-7 years of experience in applied data science / machine learning.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL (mandatory).
• Experience with PySpark is a plus.
• Solid foundation in traditional data science and machine learning techniques.
• Strong expertise in customer segmentation, predictive analytics, customer behavior analytics, pricing analytics, promotional strategy analytics, decision trees, regression analysis, classification models, and time series forecasting.
• Experience in statistical modeling and solving real-world business problems.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
