Summary:

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability of the system. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with different teams to monitor and enhance application functionality is also a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.

- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge base articles for future reference.

- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding application functionalities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM), ServiceNow Senior Developer - CMDB, Discovery, Event management

- Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow ITOM modules to meet business needs.

- Strong understanding of integration techniques using APIs and web services within ServiceNow.

- Familiarity with low-code development platforms and their application in extending packaged solutions.

- Ability to analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements to ensure stability.

- Knowledge of release management processes and best practices in software deployment.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).

- This position is based at our Pune office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
