As a ServiceNow Senior Developer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs and adapt applications accordingly is a key part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal system functionality.
- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), ServiceNow Senior Developer - Catalog, Demand Management, Vendor Management, Documentation, Training.
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes and workflows.
- Experience with configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business needs.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with low-code development platforms and tools to streamline application modifications.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintaining system stability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
