Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Retail Associate Managerwith a strong retail background to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 4-8 years of hands-on SAP SD experience, with proven delivery across Order-to-Cash processes in a retail environment, including direct exposure to SAP Promotion Management for Retail (PMR) and Customer Activity Repository (CAR).

In this role, the candidate will be expected to work independently, contribute to solution design and configuration, engage with client stakeholders, and deliver within project timelines with limited supervision. Beyond core SD expertise, the candidate must demonstrate hands-on retail project experience with the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions across retail-specific processes including promotional pricing, markdown management, POS data integration, replenishment, and omnichannel scenarios.

This role is ideal for a consultant who is ready to take ownership of a functional workstream, mentor junior team members, and deliver value within fast-paced SAP Retail transformation programs.

• • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD consulting with strong configuration expertise.
  • Proven experience delivering SAP SD solutions covering:
    • Order Types
    • Item Categories
    • Schedule Lines
    • Delivery Processing
    • Pricing Procedures
    • Condition Types
    • Billing Configuration
    • Output Determination
    • Partner Determination
  • Strong understanding of:
    • SD-FI/CO Integration including Account Determination and Billing Flow
    • SD-MM Integration including Third-Party Orders, Intercompany Processing, and Stock Transport Orders
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Retail processes, including:
    • Article Master Creation and Maintenance
    • Merchandise Management
    • Retail Pricing
    • Listing and Exclusion Processes
    • Store and Distribution Center Replenishment Scenarios
  • Experience delivering at least one full-cycle or significant SAP Retail implementation project.
  • Hands-on configuration experience with SAP Promotion Management for Retail (PMR), including:
    • Promotional Pricing
    • Condition-Based Pricing
    • Markdown Management
    • Promotion Condition Records
    • Validity Period Management
    • PMR Integration with SAP SD Pricing
  • Strong understanding of SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR), including:
    • CAR Architecture, Data Sourcing, Staging, and Integration with SAP ERP/Retail
    • POSDTA (POS Data Transfer and Audit)
    • OAA (Omnichannel Article Availability)
    • DDF (Demand Data Foundation)
    • UDF (Unified Demand Forecast)
    • CAR Integration with Replenishment, Analytics, and Omnichannel Processes
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable SAP solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  Additional Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working independently in client-facing consulting environments.
  • Ability to contribute to solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
  • Experience collaborating across functional teams, including SAP MM, FI/CO, Retail, and Supply Chain.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants and supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within project timelines with limited supervision.
  • Understanding of retail business processes across merchandising, replenishment, omnichannel, and promotional operations.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP SD Certification.
  • SAP Retail or SAP S/4HANA Retail Certification.
  • Experience with end-to-end SAP Retail transformation or migration projects.
  • Experience working on large-scale global retail implementations.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Retail and Omnichannel Commerce solutions.
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of advanced retail analytics, forecasting, and demand planning solutions.
