As a Security Architect, a typical day involves defining a comprehensive cloud security framework and architecture that aligns with organizational objectives and performance standards. This role includes meticulously documenting the deployment of cloud security controls and overseeing the smooth transition to cloud security-managed operations. The position requires continuous engagement with various stakeholders to ensure that security measures are effectively integrated and maintained throughout the cloud environment, fostering a secure and resilient infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and enforcement of security policies and standards within cloud environments.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship to support the growth of junior team members.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align security architecture with business goals and compliance requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Application Security Architecture and Design.
- Strong expertise in designing secure cloud architectures and implementing security controls.
- Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of identity and access management principles within cloud environments.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate security tools and technologies to enhance cloud security posture.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements related to cloud security.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Application Security Architecture and Design.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
