We are looking for a Senior Manager to help clients rethink how procurement creates value, manages supplier ecosystems and supports resilient, responsible growth.

You will work with senior client stakeholders across Norway and the Nordic/Netherlands region, combining procurement expertise with data, digital technology and practical transformation experience. The role is primarily Norway-focused, with scope for collaboration across the broader region. This is an opportunity to shape complex programs, develop client relationships and help grow Accenture’s procurement transformation capabilities.

About the role

As a Senior Manager in Procurement Transformation, you will advise clients on strategic procurement challenges and lead transformation initiatives from early assessment through design and implementation.

You will help clients strengthen procurement strategy, operating models, category management, sourcing, supplier management and digital enablement. Your work may include identifying value opportunities, redesigning processes and governance, defining technology requirements, supporting implementation and embedding new ways of working.

You will operate as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders while leading multidisciplinary teams that may include procurement specialists, industry experts, data professionals and technology consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement transformation engagements, from opportunity assessment and strategy through implementation and value realization.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on procurement strategy, operating models, governance, organization and capability development.
• Shape category-management and strategic-sourcing initiatives, including opportunity identification, sourcing strategy and supplier engagement.
• Help clients improve supplier performance, resilience, risk management and collaboration.
• Design future procurement processes and ways of working supported by data, analytics, automation and responsible use of AI.
• Translate business challenges into practical transformation roadmaps, investment cases and implementation plans.
• Lead project teams, manage delivery quality and create an inclusive environment in which colleagues can develop and contribute.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to extend Accenture’s support.
• Contribute to proposals, client presentations, thought leadership and the continued development of Accenture’s procurement capabilities.
• Lead the Sourcing and Procurement offering in Norway, shaping the team’s direction, developing talent and contributing to the growth of a distinctive local practice within the Nordic/Netherlands region.
• Work collaboratively across Accenture Supply Chain & Engineering, Supply Chain & Engineering, Strategy & Consulting and Technology.

What we are looking for

• Significant experience in procurement, sourcing, category management or procurement transformation, gained in consulting, industry or a combination of both.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex transformation programs and engaging senior business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of several procurement disciplines, such as procurement strategy, operating-model design, category management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, procurement analytics or digital procurement.
• Experience developing business cases, transformation roadmaps and practical recommendations supported by analysis.
• Strong commercial judgment, structured problem-solving ability and confidence communicating with senior decision-makers.

Education and language

• A relevant university degree in business, economics, engineering, supply chain, procurement or a related discipline is preferred. Extensive relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
• Professional procurement or supply-chain qualifications are welcome but not essential.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
• Fluency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage because the role involves close collaboration with clients in the local market.

Location and ways of working

The role is based in Norway, with Oslo as the primary location. Depending on client needs, work may also take place at client sites elsewhere in Norway or across the Nordic region.

Travel should be expected when required by client engagements. We support flexible ways of working while recognizing that successful consulting relationships also benefit from meaningful in-person collaboration.
