As anOperator Continuous Markets,you will bethe bridge between the customer and the technology. Youareresponsible forcontributing to the day-to-day operations of the power market including market coupling and technological development of the market platform and its products and services.
Your responsibilities:
Managedailyand weekend operationalroutinesfor theContinuouspowermarketin Europe.
Securecontinuousimprovementofbusiness processesto meetcustomerexpectationsand to securerobustoperationsin complextechenvironment.
Technical support oftrading and marketcouplingsystems includingtesting ofrelevant operationaland customerfacingplatforms.
Contributeto thedevelopmentofNord Pool’strading platformsand productoffering
Deliver excellentcustomerservice during day-to-dayoperations.
Participatein Nord Pool’sdevelopmentprojectsacrosstheEuropean powermarkets.
Be part ofour24/7 rotationaldutyarrangements relatedto operationsoftheEuropean powermarketincludingweekend and nightshiftsondutyobligations.
Your profile:
Higher education in IT, engineering, energyor economics.
Experience using IT tools such as Grafana for monitoring and support.
Experience working in operations dependent on complex IT infrastructure.
Basic understanding of Azure Cloud Technology, Apache Kafkaand MQ is an advantage.
Understanding of software development cycle and Agile methodology.
Interest in technology and how it can improve business processes and customer service.
Knowledge of the power market is an advantagebut not a requirement if you have an interest to learn.
Excellent English skills and fluency in at least one Scandinavian language.
