Summary:

As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall testing framework by integrating advanced tools and methodologies that ensure precision and reliability. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies to foster predictive and intelligent automation solutions, thereby elevating the quality and integrity of deliverables across projects. Collaboration and continuous improvement are central to the daily activities, ensuring that testing processes remain robust and aligned with organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Lead initiatives to improve testing frameworks and implement best practices across projects.

- Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.

- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of testing objectives with business goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing , Java for test automation scripting

- Experience with backend test automation

- Experience with API test automation using Karate framework

- Experience with UI test automation using Selenium

- Experience with tools such as Postman/Rest Assured

- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber

- Exposure to working in a DevOps environment configuring and integrating automation scripts on CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent

- Experience with GIT or other version control tools

- Experience with relational databases and querying tools such as SQL server

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Automated Testing.

- The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate

- A 15 years full time education is required.
