ACCIONA is a global leader in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy, delivering innovative, forward-thinking solutions in over 40 countries. We’re proud to be shaping some of the most complex and transformative infrastructure projects in North America.

In partnership with Metrolinx, ACCIONA is playing a key role in the design and construction of the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE), a 9.2-kilometre westward addition to Toronto’s Line 5 light rail transit network. This major infrastructure project includes seven new stations and installation of rail and systems under a progressive design-build model.

Beyond its technical scope, the ECWE project represents a significant investment in sustainable urban mobility, expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 5,800 tonnes annually and eliminate over 6.5 million vehicle trips each year when combined with the full Line 5.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team on a complex, high-value project that supports long-term regional growth and environmental sustainability. If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and advance your career with a global infrastructure leader, we encourage you to apply and grow with us.

The Electrical Construction Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of electrical infrastructure for one or more transit stations delivered by Trillium Rail Partners within a progressive design-build environment.

The role ensures that station electrical systems-including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, grounding, communications interfaces, and traction power interfaces-are fully integrated into the broader rail and systems architecture including Stations, Rail & Systems (SRS), Traction Power Substations (TPSS), and Advanced Train Control (ATC) interfaces.

The position is accountable for technical coordination, electrical systems integration, constructability, and performance compliance from design development through commissioning and revenue service readiness.

Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of station electrical infrastructure including power distribution systems, lighting, emergency power systems, grounding and bonding, and electrical interfaces with station mechanical systems.

  • Manage and mentor a team of project coordinators, field staff, consultants, and subcontractors responsible for electrical works.

  • Ensure full integration of electrical infrastructure with line-wide rail and systems including Stations, Rail & Systems (SRS), Traction Power Substations (TPSS), Emergency Exit Buildings (EEBs), and Advanced Train Control (ATC) handovers.

  • Coordinate closely with mechanical, architectural, civil, structural, and rail systems teams to ensure electrical infrastructure is fully integrated into station design and construction.

  • Manage electrical interfaces with mechanical systems including ventilation equipment, pumps, and fire life safety systems.

Technical Coordination & Oversight

  • Review and manage variations, delay claims, and entitlement matters related to electrical scope and system interfaces.

  • Validate subcontractor payment applications against contractual milestones and installation progress.

Construction Execution, Subcontractor & Supplier Management, Testing & Turnover

  • Manage field execution of station electrical works including installation of power distribution systems, lighting, grounding, electrical rooms, and equipment connections.

  • Manage electrical subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and schedule requirements.
