The company manages, franchises, and owns a diverse portfolio of brands spanning luxury, premium, midscale, and economy segments - including Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, and Ibis - along with lifestyle venues and co-working spaces.

Belong in a place where you can be yourself and let your passion shine.

At Sofitel Adelaide, we believe luxury is brought to life through genuine human connection, exceptional experiences and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. Join a hotel community where your contribution is valued, your talents are celebrated and you are empowered to make a difference.

Here, you will have the freedom to share ideas, challenge convention and master your craft, while creating personalised experiences that make every guest feel genuinely special. Together, we celebrate the joy of hospitality, the richness of cultural connection and the pursuit of excellence, creating extraordinary experiences for our guests and meaningful opportunities for our Heartists® to grow.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Executive Assistant Manager is a key member of the Executive Committee and provides leadership across the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring our people, our performance and every guest experience reflect the distinctive luxury promise of Sofitel.

Leading our Rooms and Food & Beverage operations, you will combine a luxury mindset with strong commercial acumen, translating our brand promise into exceptional experiences and sustainable business performance. With a particular focus on Food & Beverage performance, guest experience and service culture, you will ensure every touchpoint reflects Sofitel's distinctive blend of French zest, refined luxury and heartfelt hospitality.

Visible and connected across the hotel, you will lead from the floor, remaining close to our guests, our Heartists® and the operation. You will empower our leaders to make confident decisions, take ownership and continually raise the standard, fostering a culture built on Passion & Pride, Excellence, Empowerment, Proximity, Trust & Transparency and meaningful Relationships.

With curiosity, commercial discipline and an eye for detail, you will continually seek opportunities to elevate the guest journey, strengthen our Food & Beverage offering and enhance operational performance. Through effective financial management, revenue optimisation and a relentless focus on our key performance indicators, you will drive results for our stakeholders while ensuring that exceptional guest experience remains at the heart of every decision.

Above all, you will inspire our Heartists® to bring Sofitel's luxury promise to life every day, creating an environment where our people can shine, our guests feel genuinely cared for and our hotel consistently strives for excellence.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven senior operational leadership experience within a luxury or premium hotel environment, with the confidence and presence to lead the day-to-day hotel operation.
  • Extensive Food & Beverage leadership experience, including oversight of multiple outlets and a demonstrated ability to elevate concepts, service, quality, profitability and overall F&B performance.
  • A genuine luxury mindset and passion for creating memorable guest experiences through personalisation, attention to detail and heartfelt service.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with demonstrated experience driving revenue, profitability, productivity and operational KPIs while maintaining exceptional brand and service standards.
  • A visible, engaging and hands-on leadership style, with the ability to inspire, empower and develop leaders and Heartists®, creating clear accountability while enabling people to perform at their best.
  • The ability to build trusted and meaningful relationships across teams and stakeholders, communicating with transparency and creating genuine collaboration across the hotel.
  • A progressive and curious mindset, with the confidence to challenge established ways of working, embrace new ideas and identify opportunities to improve both guest experience and business performance.
  • A strong commitment to operational excellence, safety, compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring the fundamentals of the operation are delivered without compromise.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with a highly visible operational presence, remaining connected to our guests, our Heartists® and the rhythm of a dynamic luxury hotel.
