The Front Office ensures that every guest has an unforgettable experience, from check-in to check-out. The Front Office consists of approximately 25 colleagues, including the Manager, 3 Supervisors, 20 Team Members, and possibly you as the Front Office Supervisor.

A Day as a Front Office Supervisor at Novotel
As a Front Office Supervisor, you are responsible for the daily operations of the Front Office department. You are the first point of contact for our guests, assisting them with requests and resolving complaints in a professional and creative manner. During your shifts, you help create a positive atmosphere within the Front Office team, consisting of 24 team members. In addition, you are a structured and well-organized leader, ensuring that shifts run smoothly for both yourself and the team. Besides the operational side of the Front Office, you also support various administrative tasks. These may include reviewing and writing emails, preparing staff schedules, conducting job interviews together with HR or the Front Office Manager, and leading performance reviews and training sessions. Of course, we will provide you with the guidance and support you need to succeed in these responsibilities!
Are You the Perfect Reception Supervisor?
Novotel Amsterdam City is looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years of experience as a receptionist or previous supervisory experience;
- Has knowledge of the entire Front Office department;
- Is visible in the operation, provides recognition, and fosters positive guest relationships;
- Leads and drives the achievement of various Front Office objectives;
- Has knowledge of the PMS system, OPERA / OPERA Cloud, or similar systems;
- Is outgoing and has excellent communication skills when interacting with guests;
- Is fluent in English (any additional language is a plus!).

- A gross salary of € 2,863.55 per month based on a 38-hour work week (the salary offered by us is 7,5% higher than the Horeca CAO scale 6);
