We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Service Associate for our Food & Beverage outlet in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service that consistently exceeds guest expectations. You will work collaboratively with our team to maintain the highest standards of hospitality while ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. Your attention to detail, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere and supporting our operational goals.
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing exceptional service throughout their dining experience
- Prepare and maintain dining areas according to hotel standards, including table setup, cleanliness, and mise-en-place organization
- Deliver knowledgeable menu suggestions and food and beverage recommendations, demonstrating thorough understanding of dish composition, preparation methods, and accompaniments
- Execute the correct sequence of service as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient service flow
- Handle cashiering responsibilities accurately and professionally, managing transactions in accordance with established policies
- Clear and reset tables promptly after service, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout mealtime
- Transport soiled dishes and service items to the kitchen and steward area, following proper placement procedures
- Clean and polish glassware, silverware, and other service equipment to maintain presentation standards
- Replenish linens, operating equipment, and supplies at the service station to ensure uninterrupted service
- Respond flexibly to fluctuations in guest numbers, special events, and varying service demands
- Maintain excellent personal grooming and appearance standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet departmental targets and support overall restaurant operations
- Address guest concerns with empathy and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Perform closing duties, including cleaning and tidying restaurant and preparation areas
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment through professional communication and cooperative behavior

**Education/Certifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hospitality or food service training certification (preferred)
- Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred)
**Domain Expertise:**
- Understanding of food and beverage service standards and protocols
- Knowledge of guest satisfaction principles and service excellence
- Familiarity with restaurant equipment and service tools
