Job Summary :

AceNet Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Lead Backend Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and leading scalable backend solutions using Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting enterprise-grade backend systems, defining API and microservices standards, mentoring development teams, and delivering secure, high-performance applications while ensuring adherence to architecture governance and coding best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and develop scalable backend solutions using Python, Node.js, and Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

- Define and implement RESTful API standards and microservices architecture.

- Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL database systems for high availability and performance.

- Ensure backend applications are scalable, secure, reliable, and highly performant.

- Lead backend development activities and mentor engineering teams.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API access control mechanisms.

- Drive backend performance optimization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

- Deploy and manage backend applications on Microsoft Azure App Services.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture governance, and development best practices.

- Support end-to-end system integration and enterprise solution delivery.

- Utilize SQL to analyze data, develop database functionality, and enhance application performance.

Required Skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in backend application development and solution architecture.

- Strong expertise in Python, Node.js, and Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

- Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning.

- Proficiency in SQL for database development, analysis, and performance enhancement.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services and cloud deployments.

- Experience implementing GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and access control mechanisms.

- Experience with scalable backend architecture, system integration, and enterprise application development.

- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to have :

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Experience with message queues, caching technologies (Redis), and event-driven architectures.

- Exposure to AI/ML integrations or cloud-native backend services.

- Experience working on enterprise-scale digital transformation or consulting projects.

- Experience leading technical teams and driving architecture and engineering best practices.
