Actual talent METZ is recruiting for its client specializing in IT support, a Systems Administrator (M/F) for a temporary assignment as a maternity leave replacement.

  • Contract: Temporary assignment of 4 to 6 months
  • Start date: During September
  • Salary from 32k to 33k depending on profile and experience

Here are the tasks that will be entrusted to you

  • Administer and optimize the virtualization platform (vSphere / VMware) to ensure service continuity.
  • Manage the Synology NAS storage infrastructure and ensure its proper functioning.
  • Manage and control the global backup strategy via Veeam Backup.
  • Perform monthly patching and security updates for the environment (Windows Server and Linux Debian).
  • Provide a responsive level of technical support and keep infrastructure documentation up to date.

Profile sought:

  • Bachelor's degree to Master's degree in IT / systems and networks
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar systems administrator position
  • Solid skills in Windows Server and Linux Debian administration
  • Operational technical English (reading/writing documentation)
  • Autonomy and sense of priorities
  • Rigor and methodology in managing updates
