Lead Data Scientist - Manufacturing

This role is part of the Group Data and Analytics team, driving high-impact AI, Data Science, and Analytics initiatives across multiple businesses. The individual will partner with business and technology leaders to identify opportunities, develop scalable AI/ML solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

The role is responsible for translating complex business challenges into data-driven solutions, driving adoption, and ensuring sustainable value realisation through strong stakeholder engagement, governance, and innovation.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

AI and Data Leadership:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML and analytics solutions.
• Drive innovation by leveraging emerging technologies, data science techniques, and industry best practices.
• Build scalable, reusable AI assets and analytical frameworks across businesses.

Business Problem Solving and Stakeholder Management:

• Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritise, and solve high-impact business problems.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Develop compelling business cases, dashboards, and executive presentations.

• Deliver measurable business impact through AI and Analytics initiatives across growth, efficiency, customer experience, and risk management.
