Cloud Engineer 3 - AI Agents

As a Cloud AI Agents FinOps Engineer, you will help build AI agents, tooling, and data-driven solutions that improve cloud cost efficiency, resource utilization, and cost visibility across AWS and Azure. You will work closely with senior engineers and partner teams - to support FinOps and cloud optimization initiatives, gaining hands-on experience while growing your technical depth and impact, including designing and deploying AI agents that streamline FinOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Build services, and data pipelines supporting cloud cost optimization and FinOps use cases.

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents (using LLM-based frameworks) for FinOps tasks such as cost anomaly detection, rightsizing recommendations, usage analysis, and reporting.
• Analyze cloud usage and cost data to help identify optimization opportunities and support data-driven decisions.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Python and foundational software development practices.

• Hands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications , understanding of prompt engineering, tool-calling, and RAG concepts.

• AWS and/or Azure, cloud knowledge.

• SQL and basic data querying and analysis.

• Git and collaborative development workflows; Docker and containerized development concepts.

Experience & Background

• 4+ years experience in development experience in software engineering, AI agents, or tooling.
• Hands-on AWS or Azure cloud exposure.

• Prior experience building or experimenting with AI agents/LLM applications.

• Interest in cloud cost efficiency, performance optimization, and FinOps concepts.

Collaboration & Communication

• Communicates technical thinking clearly across distributed, cross-regional teams, including counterparts in US.
• Comfortable working async and adjusting for time-zone overlap to keep initiatives moving.
• Shows initiative while knowing when to seek guidance; open to feedback.

Internal Interview Focus Areas

• Python fundamentals, Docker basics, and Git workflows.
• AI agent design concepts: tool-calling, prompt design, agent orchestration basics.
• SQL, data analysis fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS or Azure).
• Coding, Problem-solving, learning agility.
