Adobe is an American software company founded in 1982 by John Warnock and Charles Geschke and headquartered in San Jose, California. It created the PostScript and PDF formats and built the industry-standard creative toolset around Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and InDesign, now delivered as the Creative Cloud subscription. The company also runs Document Cloud for electronic signatures and document workflows, Experience Cloud for enterprise marketing analytics and personalisation, and the commercially safe Firefly family of generative AI models.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Manager at Adobe Professional Services, you will lead the full delivery process for complex enterprise digital experience and transformation projects for key customers.

The role requires an experienced delivery professional with strong program management skills, commercial insight, and the ability to engage confidently with senior customer partners. You will act as the main delivery contact for the assigned customer account, ensuring successful project completion, customer satisfaction, and attainment of business objectives.

This is a senior individual contributor role requiring leadership through influence, collaboration, and strong delivery governance. The position does not carry direct people-management or project-team reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project & Program Management
  • Take complete responsibility for the full delivery of assigned projects and programs, making sure they correspond with customer business objectives and Adobe Professional Services delivery standards.
  • Serve as the main delivery single point of contact and reliable delivery partner for the assigned customer account.
  • Direct various concurrent projects and workstreams, maintaining seamless coordination, prioritization, and implementation.
  • Establish clear delivery plans, achievements, dependencies, resource requirements, and success criteria.
  • Promote delivery excellence by ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope, budget, and agreed margin targets.
  • Proactively monitor project health, identify delivery risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure customer expectations are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Customer & Collaborator Management

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with senior customer collaborators, establishing credibility and trust through consistent delivery performance.
  • Lead customer governance forums, steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and critical issues.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for communication between the customer and Adobe's internal teams.
  • Work collaboratively with Account Executives, Services Sales, Solution Architects, Ultimate Success, Technology Office, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Manage complex collaborator dynamics and resolve conflicts through effective communication, negotiation, and decision-making.
  • Identify chances to advance customer experience, delivery performance, and value realization.
  • Show capability to work efficiently within a worldwide, matrix-structured setting that includes teams and partners spread across different locations.

3. Presales & Commercial Management

  • Support presales activities by reviewing proposed solutions, delivery approaches, effort estimates, assumptions, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Lead or contribute to project estimation, scope definition, delivery planning, resource planning, and commercial assessments.
  • Review and refine SOWs to ensure clarity of scope, deliverables, achievements, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and commercial terms.
  • Participate in RFP/RFI responses, proposals, solution reviews, and customer presentations as required.
  • Ensure effective sales-to-delivery handover and alignment between proposed commitments and delivery capabilities.
  • Manage project financial aspects, such as budgets, predictions, resource distribution, costs, and profitability results.
  • Identify and proactively manage scope changes, commercial risks, and potential delivery impacts.
  • Ensure engagements are organized around quantifiable business results and value achievement.

4. Delivery Governance & Execution Excellence

  • Lead the delivery of complex digital experience implementations and transformation projects using Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Establish and maintain effective project oversight, reporting systems, delivery measurements, and processes for managing blocking issues.
  • Ensure consistent implementation across Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Ensure efficient handling of project dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions.
  • Monitor delivery quality, customer satisfaction, achievements, financial performance, and overall project health.
  • Drive timely resolution of delivery challenges, engaging appropriate technical, functional, and leadership collaborators.
  • Ensure consistency with Adobe Professional Services methodologies, operational standards, and delivery guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, governance, and customer engagement practices.

5. Cross-functional Leadership

  • Provide delivery leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams without direct people-management responsibility.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, accountability, and delivery expectations across project collaborators.
  • Influence and coordinate architects, consultants, developers, technical leads, business analysts, and partner teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, transparency, and accountability across distributed delivery teams.
  • Mentor and guide project team members through delivery challenges, sharing guidelines and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Proactively address resource constraints, delivery dependencies, and team alignment challenges.

  • Experience overseeing projects using Adobe Experience Cloud products, including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Platform, and other comparable enterprise platforms.

  • Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining delivery quality and customer happiness.

Leadership & Collaborator Management

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior collaborators and drive outcomes in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
