Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Electrical Substations

• Perform testing and commissioning activities for electrical substations and power systems.

• Execute pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning, and energization activities.

• Conduct electrical testing of substation equipment and systems.

• Perform troubleshooting and identify technical issues during testing and commissioning.

• Prepare and review testing and commissioning procedures, checklists, and test reports.

• Ensure testing activities are performed according to approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable standards.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements during all testing and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably Electrical Power Engineering.

• 4–5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proven hands-on experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical Substations.

• The candidate should be currently working as a Testing & Commissioning Engineer or have very recent relevant T&C experience.

• Practical experience with electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and energization.

• Good understanding of HV/MV substations and electrical equipment.

• Ability to read and understand SLDs, electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.

• Good technical reporting and documentation skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HV/MV Substations.

• Experience with substation testing equipment and commissioning tools.

• Previous experience with EPC contractors, engineering consultants, utilities, or industrial projects.

• Experience with major electrical power projects is an advantage.

• Ready to relocate or travel to project locations when required.

• Candidates who are ready to move/join ADVEC within a short notice period are preferred.
