AECOM is an American infrastructure consulting firm that became independent in 1990 through a management buyout from the energy group Ashland, and is now one of the largest design and engineering organisations in the world. It plans, designs and manages delivery of transport systems, water and wastewater infrastructure, buildings, environmental remediation and energy projects for public agencies and private developers across roughly one hundred and fifty countries. Headquartered in Dallas after relocating from Los Angeles, the company sold its self-perform construction and government services arms to concentrate on higher-margin professional services rather than carrying construction risk.

Come grow with us.

As the demand for safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation grows, AECOM provides comprehensive services from concept to completion and beyond. Our transportation experts leverage local knowledge and global capability to help clients navigate challenges and build a better world. We support public and private clients in moving people and goods sustainably, with a strategic focus on renewable energy and the electrification and decarbonisation of transportation.
