Sales Assistant

We are looking for a commercially minded Sales Assistant to support our North American sales activities, based at our office in Riga, Latvia. This role will work closely with the Head of Sales North America and support one or two Account Executives, helping move opportunities from initial customer discussions through quotation, purchase order and project execution.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working directly with US customers and coordinating across multiple internal departments. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong ownership and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment where information is not always complete.

Responsibilities

• Support communication and follow-up with US customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and supporting sales documentation.
• Participate in technical and commercial customer calls to gather project requirements, timelines and scope information.
• Track opportunities and monitor deal progression, ensuring agreed actions and follow-ups are completed.
• Monitor customer purchase orders, including PO values, remaining limits and potential overruns.
• Support project profitability analysis using Aerones' internal commercial and operational tools.
• Work with Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Finance and other departments to gather information required for accurate quotations.
• Support the Head of Sales North America and assigned Account Executives with customer, proposal and opportunity-management tasks.
• Maintain accurate information on customer opportunities, project requirements, pricing and commercial status.
• Identify missing information, delays or commercial risks and proactively follow up with the relevant people.
• Help ensure opportunities move forward rather than waiting for customers or internal stakeholders to take the next step.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence communicating professionally with international customers.
• Willingness to work from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM Riga time.
• Highly organized, with strong comfort operating in ambiguous or fast-changing situations.
• Strong drive for results and willingness to take ownership of open issues, actively chasing information rather than waiting for instructions.
• Commercial judgement, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate several opportunities simultaneously.
• Previous experience in sales support, business development, project coordination, commercial operations or a technical/industrial environment is considered an advantage.
• Experience working with international or US customers is considered an advantage.
• Full-time, office-based availability at Aerones' office in Riga, Latvia.
