Responsibilities:

  • Design microservices architecture from scratch and service boundaries.
  • Define API contracts and communication patterns.
  • Technology stack decisions and standards.
  • Security architecture and compliance.
  • Performance and scalability planning.
  • Code reviews and architectural guidance.


The core requirements for the job include the following:


Technical Skills:

  • Backend: Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Cloud: AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3 RDS, ElastiCache).
  • Integration: REST APIs, GraphQL, Kafka/SQS.
  • Security: JWT, OAuth, RBAC/ABAC patterns.
  • Monitoring: ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.


Must-Have:

  • Proven experience designing distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures.


Good to have:

  • AI-assisted development experience (Cursor AI/Claude code/Copilot).
  • Define AI development standards and best practices.
  • Review AI-generated code for architectural compliance.
  • Establish code quality gates for AI-assisted development.
  • Mentor team on effective AI tool utilization.
