Fixed Assets & Inventory Account Assistant

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Fixed Assets & Inventory Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for managing Fixed Asset Register (FAR), resolving PAV issues, ensuring accurate asset accounting, and maintaining IFRS16 compliance across the region.

What you’ll do as Fixed Assets & Inventory Accounts Assistant:

Fixed Assets:

• Maintain accuracy of FAR (asset details, description, GL, classification, lifecycle).
• Perform fixed asset checks as required
• Coordinate calls and discussions to resolve complex issues (e.g., GRA, BC allocation). Support updates in M3 system (via ATS/Wipro).
• Resolve PAV discrepancies and ensure physical asset verification.
• Perform reconciliations between FAR, fleet systems, and financial records.
• Execute asset accounting adjustments (disposals, reclassifications, write-offs).
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of IFRS16 lease data in Tagetik.
• Coordinate with Finance, Fleet, Wipro, ATS, and Group teams.
• Resolve the legacy fixed asset issues and support audit compliance.

Inventory:

• Obtain explanation for monthly material price variances and identify business reasons.
• Review and update inventory NEG/POS register.
• Perform GL vs CAS reconciliation (WIP, 20000, 20010) and investigate gaps.
• Review inventory provisions, slow-moving and obsolete stock.
• Monitor inventory WIP accounts and ensure no invalid open work orders.
• Validate inventory valuation (weighted average cost) for high-value items.

You are:

• 3+ years’ experience in Fixed Assets & inventory area.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good knowledge of reconciliation and provisioning.
• Experience with ERP systems (M3, Tagetik preferred)
