Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to international trade, tariffs, customs regulations, shipments, and trade agreements.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations on trade trends, costs, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
Trade Compliance & Regulation: Monitor global trade regulations and ensure compliance with customs laws and trade agreements. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to import/export regulations. This will include China and Europe import & export support, monitoring China country of origin. In Europe, executing the reconciliation process with Customs.
Trade Strategy Support: Support strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights into trade flows, tariff impacts, duty optimization strategies such as First Sale (US), and potential areas for cost reduction. In Asia, the understanding and evaluation of Free Trade Agreements.
System Maintenance & Data Integrity: Ensure that trade data is accurately inputted into SAP/MIC trade systems and working closely with the trade country managers. Troubleshoot data discrepancies and work on continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to streamline global trade processes and optimize data management.
Market Research: Conduct research on international trade trends, policy changes, and market conditions that may impact the company’s global trade strategies.
Automation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation of reporting and data collection to improve efficiency and accuracy across the trade process. Close collaboration with the Trade Technology manager
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade analytics, supply chain data analysis, or a related field.
Experience working with trade management systems, such as SAP and MIC and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, AI)
Excellent knowledge of international trade regulations, tariffs, customs procedures, and global supply chain practices.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools
Strong understanding of trade data sets, including Harmonized System (HS) and ECCN codes, and import/export documents
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to analyze complex trade data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications:
Knowledge of trade management software (e.g., Descartes, or similar) is desirable.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and interact with stakeholders across various departments and regions.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
