Instrument Sales Account Manager - Northern Ireland

This role will be responsible fora varied account and customer typegeography,covering Northern Ireland and surrounding border counties in Ireland. A higher focus on Environmentaland Life Scienceapplicationsis desiredfor this territory.Account types will range from Academia, Governmental Labs, Food and Environmental,and Pharmaceutical.

As an Account Manager at Agilent, you will be part of Agilent’sdynamic professional sales team. In this critical role, you will utilizeyour expertiseand technical knowledge to grow theterritory businessin Ireland. You will sell chromatography, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry solutions, Biotek products, and proactively develop and implement a successful sales strategy to exceed targets.

As an integral member of theAgilentSales team, you will focus on acquiringnew business,while maintainingand growing the existing installed base.As part of this team, you will be supported by Product Specialists and Application Engineers across the product portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Achieve all sales targets around quota and sales forecasts.Drive market share in assigned accounts.

• Responsible for developing customer relationships and maintaininga high levelof customer satisfactionthroughout our Environmental customer base

• Proactively prospect for new customers and new opportunitiesby showcasingAgilent’s latest NPI’s and feeding backnew/emergingmarket trends

• Identifyand work with key opinion leaders to develop impactful industry relationships to support the successful growth of the Agilent Environmentalmarket share

• Understand customer needs and identifysolutions to non-standard tasks/queries to create business opportunities.

• Work collaboratively across all Agilent channels: CSD (Consumables), CSO (Service Delivery), SSD (Service Sales), COPC (Customer Operations Center), CMR ( Cell Analysis Molecular Research)

• Work with the Field Sales Channel and global marketing team on the development and implementation of key marketing programs.

• Must proactively drive the sales cycle and forecast sales accurately.

• Provide rigor around CRM updates, expense reporting, and other required business processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• PhD, Bachelor's or Master'sDegree, University Degree, or equivalent.

• 2 years+experience of selling instruments/solutionsin Agilent's markets

• Working understanding of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, as it pertains to an analytical lab.

• Demonstrable knowledge of the Northern Ireland / Ireland instrumentation laboratorymarket.

• Perfect networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key stakeholders.

• Must hold a valid Irish driver’s license

• Fluent in English.
