Job Description
Agilent is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect & Business Transformation Management (BTM) Technical Owner to support ERP modernization and digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on solution architecture, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Procurement and Materials Management (MM), Business Transformation Management tools, data migration, and data archiving capabilities within the SAP landscape.
The position will partner closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology teams to design scalable solutions, guide SAP S/4HANA transformation activities, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and SAP best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Solution Architect for SAP S/4HANA and related business applications, providing end-to-end solution design and technical leadership.
- Lead solution architecture activities for Procurement, Materials Management (MM), Source-to-Pay, Inventory Management, and related supply chain business processes.
- Act as the technical owner for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), supporting integrations, extensions, automation, and application development initiatives.
- Serve as the technical owner for SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM) tools, including SAP LeanIX, SAP Signavio, SAP Cloud ALM, Tricentis, and Syniti.
- Support enterprise architecture, application portfolio rationalization, capability mapping, and process transformation initiatives using LeanIX and Signavio.
- Drive adoption and governance of SAP Cloud ALM, test management practices using Tricentis, and data migration capabilities leveraging Syniti.
- Define and support data migration activities, including data assessment, cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
- Lead data archiving and information lifecycle management initiatives to improve system performance, reduce data footprint, and support compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Promote clean core principles by leveraging SAP standard functionality and minimizing unnecessary customizations.
- Develop solution designs, architecture documentation, technical recommendations, and presentations for project teams and leadership reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field required. Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
- 8+ years of SAP experience, including solution architecture, implementation, or technical leadership roles.
- Strong experience with SAP Materials Management (MM), Procurement, and Source-to-Pay processes.
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integrations, and extension technologies.
- Experience with SAP LeanIX, SAP Signavio, SAP Cloud ALM, Tricentis, Syniti, or similar transformation and lifecycle management tools.
- Experience with data migration, data governance, and data quality initiatives.
- Familiarity with data archiving and information lifecycle management concepts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business users, project teams, system integrators, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certifications in S/4HANA, MM, BTP, or related disciplines.
- Experience with global ERP transformation programs.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture practices, process transformation, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience working with SAP Integration Suite, SAP MDG, SAP ILM, or related SAP solutions.
This role provides technical leadership across SAP solution architecture, BTP, BTM platforms, procurement and supply chain processes, data migration, and data lifecycle management to support Agilent's ongoing ERP modernization strategy.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least September 21, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $127,680.00 - $199,500.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
