Get to Know Our Team
Agoda’s Marketing organization is highly data-driven and uses experimentation, technology and analytics to create measurable value across markets and channels.
Marketing has successfully developed a strong bottom-up culture of AI adoption, with teams using GenAI to improve analysis, reporting, campaign operations, content development and other recurring workflows. We are now establishing a small Marketing AI Products team to take the next step: turning the most valuable cross-team opportunities into reliable, scalable and widely adopted products.
The team will focus on a small number of high-impact “lighthouse” initiatives while Marketing sub-teams continue to develop and own their everyday, team-specific AI use cases. Initial opportunity areas include experiment analysis, business reporting and monitoring, campaign operations, creative workflows and SEO/AEO content.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on analyst and product builder who can operate at the intersection of Marketing, data, product development and generative AI.
You will identify high-value workflows, translate business problems into clear product requirements, develop and evaluate solutions, and work with developers and Marketing teams to take successful ideas from prototype through deployment and adoption.
This is not a traditional reporting role or a purely coordination-focused product role. You will be expected to work directly with data and AI tools, understand users’ workflows in detail and take ownership of delivering measurable outcomes.
In This Role, You’ll Get To
- Identify recurring Marketing workflows where AI can materially improve speed, quality, scalability or decision-making.
- Quantify each opportunity by establishing its current effort, pain points, user base and potential business value.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user journeys, milestones and measurable success criteria.
- Build and test prototypes using SQL, Python, automation tools and generative AI technologies.
- Partner with developers, Technology teams and sponsoring Marketing teams to turn successful prototypes into reliable products.
- Design evaluation frameworks covering output accuracy, reliability, usability, safety and appropriate human review.
- Lead user research, pilots and iterative testing with analysts, channel specialists and other target users.
- Drive rollout, documentation, training and adoption in partnership with sponsoring teams.
- Measure hours saved, improvements in turnaround time and quality, adoption levels and downstream business impact.
- Maintain a prioritized portfolio of Marketing AI opportunities and communicate progress, learnings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Monitor developments in AI capabilities and identify when existing products should be improved, expanded or retired.
- Contribute reusable tools, standards and playbooks that help Marketing teams build better AI-enabled workflows independently.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in analytics, product analytics, marketing strategy, business operations, consulting, product management or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative, technical or business discipline such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics or finance.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working independently with large or complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Python, scripting, workflow automation or similar technical tools.
- Experience defining hypotheses, designing experiments and translating results into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong product thinking, including the ability to understand user problems, define requirements and make pragmatic scope and prioritization decisions.
- Ability to break ambiguous problems into structured workstreams and move rapidly from analysis to execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and communicating complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A strong sense of ownership, attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, dependable solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Analytics, Product and Technology teams.
- Experience building GenAI applications, AI agents or automated analytical workflows.
- Familiarity with prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, APIs, model evaluation and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Cursor, Claude Code or Google AI Studio.
It’s Great if You Have
- Experience writing product requirements, managing a product backlog or taking an internal product from prototype to scaled adoption.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, performance marketing, experimentation, SEO/AEO, campaign operations or personalization.
- Experience establishing quality-assurance and monitoring processes for data or AI products.
- Experience deploying internal tools or working closely with software engineers on production systems.
What Success Looks Like
In your first year, you will help launch and scale a small number of cross-Marketing AI products with clear adoption and value metrics. These products should deliver measurable improvements in employee productivity, output quality or business outcomes-and have clearly defined ownership, documentation, quality controls and maintenance plans.
