- Ensure database environments comply with relevant data governance frameworks, privacy legislation, and organisational standards, including alignment with Australian Privacy Principles where applicable
- Assist in capacity planning activities by assessing current usage trends and forecasting future storage and performance requirements
- Support the development and maintenance of data integration processes, including ETL pipelines and data warehouse environments, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
## Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated experience in a Database Administrator or similar role, with hands-on responsibility for managing enterprise-level database environments

- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex database performance issues through monitoring tools, execution plans, and indexing strategies
- Familiarity with data modelling techniques and the ability to translate business requirements into well-structured database designs
- Sound understanding of IT service management practices and experience working within structured change management processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with both technical teams and business stakeholders
