American International Group is an insurer founded in Shanghai in 1919 that grew into one of the largest financial institutions in the world before its near-collapse in 2008, when losses on credit default swaps written against mortgage securities forced the largest government rescue of a single company in American history. It has spent the years since dismantling that conglomerate, separating its life and retirement business as Corebridge and selling numerous units, and it now concentrates on commercial property and casualty insurance. Headquartered in New York, it is a considerably smaller and simpler company than the one that failed.

·Coordinate necessary investigative techniques and resources, such as fieldwork through internal or external field resources, cognitive interviews, etc., ensuring quality is accurate, timely, and appropriate on all cases

·Gathering facts on issues in question through open-ended interviews and statement taking of witnesses, claimants, and other relevant witnesses.

·Obtaining and preserving physical and documentary evidence to support investigations.

·Preparing objective and concise written reports of investigations as necessary.

·Accurately identify and record all financial impacts for cases worked in the case management system.

·Identifying, creating, and completing fraud training for various lines of business supported by AIG.

·Completing targeted claims reviews for all lines of business within AIG domestically as assigned.

·Establish and maintain professional working relationships with insured parties, lawyers, corporateemployees, vendors, police, and relevant fraud bodies.

·Testify and presenting evidence at administrative and criminal court proceedings as required

·Assist team on ad hoc duties, projects and other assignments delegated by Managers/ Leaders e.g. recovery

Additionally, you will be expected to:

·Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure investigations adhere to regulations and company policies.

·Provide analytical insights into fraud trends to improve future investigations and fraud mitigation strategies.

·Actively participate in professional development to enhance investigative skills and methodologies.

·Contribute to the continuous improvement of investigation processes and standards within the organization.

·Leverage emerging technologies and tools to enhance investigative capabilities, including data analytics, artificial intelligence, and advanced fraud detection systems.

·Support the execution of the Fraud Transformation Strategy to ensure key deliverables and business objectives are tailored for the respective countries

·Stay updated on technological advancements relevant to fraud investigations, ensuring the adoption of innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectivenes
