Data Scientist (Algorithms, Community Support)

Join our Community Support Data Science team as a Data Scientist with expertise in LLM/ML. In this role, you will work on high-impact projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence decisions through data-driven insights. You will have the opportunity to shape and influence our AI-powered products and operational optimization strategies.

Missions

• Implement advanced techniques to automate the LLM evaluation process and scale the curation of high-quality synthetic datasets.
• Build LLM/ML models to understand customer issues and identify failure modes, and build personalization models to offer differentiated experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with partners across Product, Design, Engineering, Operations, and Analytics to drive collaboration and innovation.

Profil recherché

- The ideal candidate combines deep technical fluency in LLM/ML with a bias toward action and impact, comfort with ambiguity, and a passion for building scalable, scientific solutions

- State-of-the-art knowledge of AI/ML models

- Ability to translate complex findings and results into compelling narratives that drive impact

- Strong fluency in Python/R and SQL, observation causal inference skill is a plus

- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively to audiences of varying technical levels

- A product-oriented mindset, with the ability to apply conceptual and innovative thinking to develop and implement solutions that consider the user experience

- Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills

- 2+ years of relevant industry experience (e.g. data/ML scientist, tech lead, junior faculty) and a Master’s degree or PhD in relevant fields
