Finance and Controlling for Facility Management and Real Estate (d/f/m)

The position

As a Facility Management and Real Estate (FMRE) Controller you will serve as a key link between the Finance community and the Facility Management business. This cross-functional role requires close collaboration with other support functions (Asset & Cost Accounting, Procurement, Central Reporting,

Accounts Receivable/Payable) and regular alignment with international controlling colleagues acrossGermany, France, Spain, and the UK.

About Us

Facility Management and Real Estate (FMRE) serves as the backbone of Airbus Defence and Space operations, managing the site infrastructure, buildings, and services. You will become part of an international controlling team, supported by five dedicated colleagues at the Ottobrunn site and numerous team members throughout Germany and Europe. Unlike traditional finance roles, you will be directly embedded with your FMRE business partners. This proximity ensures efficient communication, fosters strong relationships and allows you to see the direct impact of your work on our site’s operations.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

· Contribute significantly to the administration of FM costs

· Project ontrolling for site Ottobrunn:

• Project controlling of CapEx and OpEx FMRE projects, tracking and managing the full project portfolio cost and schedule, as well as coordinating between FM and internal & external customers
• Supporting FM colleagues with financial processes such as requisitions, purchase orders and capitalization of assets

· Develop financial calculations for business cases ranging from minor investments to major site expansions

· Act as the focal point for consolidating FMRE CapEx investments across the full international perimeter (Germany, France, Spain, UK) & interact with Group and Division

· Preparing OP, budget and forecast for FM in close collaboration with Head of FM & team, finance and functions for CapEx/OpEx to ensure long term profitability and competitiveness of our business

· Controlling of Real Estate entities and ensuring their sustainable contribution to the overall result

· Oversee the procurement process with all affected company codes (including internal and external customers as well as Real Estates) and monitor adherence to budget and actual cost allocation

· Execute headcount controlling for the German perimeter

· Supporting ad-hoc requests and strategic initiatives

You will be a vital part in the Finance community with different links to project and program organizations.

Qualifications:

· Extensive knowledge in Finance & Business Controlling

· Profound experience and expertise in business case modeling and creation

· Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or comparable commercial training is preferred

· Strong affinity for numbers with excellent data analysis skills and a solid understanding of complex planning and reporting structures

· High level of initiative, dedication, and an independent, solution-oriented working style

· Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace environments

· Know-how in communication towards Top Management

· Knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards

· Negotiation level in German and English
