Job Title: Accountant

This opportunity sits within a global offshore energy business recognised for floating production, mooring systems, production operations, terminals and services. The role focuses on management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, supporting business decision-making through analytics and data insights. This position will contribute to quarterly reporting, budget cycles, internal control compliance and ad hoc financial analysis in a technically demanding international environment.
Required Education:
- Master Degree in Finance, Economics, or a relevant postgraduate finance qualification
Required Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in an international audit firm and/or in a reporting position within an international environment
- Experience supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
- Experience preparing quarterly management reporting and analysing project, vessel, shore base or departmental performance
- Experience working with year-end closing activities and external auditors
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- IFRS knowledge
- Proficiency in Business Object, SAP and Excel
- Ability to analyse over/under recoveries, SG&A costs, operating costs and headcount variance
- Capability to prepare reporting submissions at project, vessel, department and consolidated level
- Understanding of internal control and continuous improvement practices
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
- Fluent English
Required Certifications:
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent finance qualification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional language capability
- Experience with data migration
- ERP experience
