Senior Full Stack Angular / Java Developer (Camunda)

Duration: Initial contract until 31/12/2027

Location: 1 day per week onsite in Budapest, Hungary, 4 days remote

Our client is seeking multiple Senior Full Stack Developers to support a major finance transformation programme within the banking sector, focused on retail financing processes and consumer lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Angular-based single-page applications (SPA).
• Build and maintain Java microservices and backend components.
• Integrate REST APIs and support complex end-to-end business processes.
• Design and implement workflow solutions using Camunda or comparable process engines.
• Work across distributed system landscapes and multiple interfaces.
• Deliver features independently while collaborating within an Agile team.
• Contribute to automated testing and quality assurance activities.

Must-Have Skills:

• Several years of commercial Angular development experience.
• Strong Java and microservices development expertise.
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
• Background working within complex enterprise system landscapes.
• Experience with Camunda or a similar workflow/process automation platform.
• Ability to independently deliver features from design through implementation.
• Senior-level software engineering experience.
• Test automation experience with tools such as JMeter, Playwright, or Tosca.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• CI/CD experience using Git, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
• Previous banking or financial services experience.
• German language skills.
