Responsibilities
Participate in the development of a high-scale, cloud-based, B2B SaaS platform serving leading enterprises, financial institutions, and governments.
Play a key role in development, agile processes, unit testing, code reviews, and ensuring the highest product quality.
Develop and maintain REST APIs using Ruby on Rails and the Grape API framework.
Support day-to-day workflow, QA, innovation, and new feature delivery.
Communicate with product managers, QA and automation, support, and operations to solve, improve, test, and optimize functional and non-functional aspects of the platform.
Participate in integrating with cloud technologies and modernizing system architecture.
Collaborate with AI-assisted development tooling and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerized development environments, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Requirements
Experience with AI-assisted or agentic development workflows using AI coding tools (e. g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for code generation, automated code review, test authoring, spec-driven development, or multi-agent orchestration. Comfort working alongside AI tooling as a productivity multiplier rather than just an autocomplete.

Comfortable working within a collaborative agile team or solo.
3+ years of commercial Ruby on Rails development experience.
3+ years of commercial experience working with relational databases (MySQL preferred).
Experience working with and developing web REST APIs (Grape API framework experience a plus).
Experience working with AWS (EC2 EKS, Lambda, S3 CloudFormation/SAM).
2+ years of experience working with agile development methodologies Scrum or Kanban.
Experience with TDD (RSpec) in an agile environment.
Experience working on SaaS enterprise solutions.
Experience with Docker and containerized development workflows.
Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Travis CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Familiarity with analytics/reporting concepts and data processing.
Familiarity with a JS/TS-based frontend framework such as React (TypeScript preferred), Vue, or Angular.
Familiarity with Node.js backend applications.
Experience with Elasticsearch.
Experience with background job processing (Sidekiq or similar).
Experience with Redis for caching and queuing.
Desirable
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
Experience with API versioning strategies and hypermedia APIs (HAL).
