Fishing Coordinator

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering desired/not mandatory
• Minimum 10 year of experience as Fishing Coordinator in a well-known oilfield service company
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

• Engage client/drilling engineers to request necessary information to properly plan the fishing activity
• Prepare fishing, milling, slot recovery and P&A fishing proposals as per client and contracts request
• Planning of resources to perform operations with the highest quality standards
• Coordinate with workshop supervisor assets and inventory readiness
• Follow up on daily field operations and advice on solutions to solve complex situations
• Coach fishing engineers on best practices and support on critical decisions
• Address with the client risk associated to operations when required
• Elaborate weekly operation report
• Perform periodically rig visits to review crew QHSE standards in the field/compliance
• Engage client contract team to follow up on contract requirements
• Asses technically and interview new engineers when required
• Follow up on tool utilization and inventory levels as per operation requirements
• Keep recording lesson learned and apply accordingly
• Advise client/drilling engineers for solutions during the jobs
• Attend pre job meeting and actively participate peer review and DWOP
• Elaborate post jobs reports after each job is completed
• Communicate to operations manager daily reporting operations and highlight any deviation
• Attend meetings with client when required
