Training Advisor
At Albert Bartlett, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Training Advisor to join our team and help develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence of our workforce.
As a Training Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting employee learning and development across the business. This varied role combines both office-based and operational activities, giving you the opportunity to work closely with employees at all levels.
From delivering presentations and training sessions, supporting policy and procedure training, and coordinating online learning, to facilitating practical, hands-on training and competency assessments on the shop floor, you'll help ensure our employees have the skills they need to succeed.
You'll work closely with Managers and Team Leaders to identify development needs, coordinate engaging learning activities, and provide ongoing support to help colleagues reach their full potential while ensuring compliance with company, legal, and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside Managers and Team Leaders to identify and address training and development needs across the business.
- Coordinate and schedule a variety of training activities, including classroom sessions, e-learning, policy and procedure training, and practical workplace learning.
- Deliver engaging training sessions and support employees throughout their learning journey.
- Facilitate hands-on training and competency assessments within operational areas.
- Maintain training records and monitor employee progress to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Support onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
- Develop and update training materials, presentations, guides, and learning resources.
- Collaborate with HR and operational teams to promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
- Experience in a training or development role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with various learning management systems.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and adapt working hours where required to support training activities across different shifts and operational areas.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a genuine passion for supporting others.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience delivering presentations, facilitating group training sessions, and supporting practical, hands-on learning would be advantageous.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week).
- Hourly Rate: £14.23 per hour.
