We are looking for a high-ownership Product, Systems and Analytics, to serve as the single accountable bridge between business vision and technical execution. In this role, you aren't just managing tasks; you own outcomes. You will translate requirements across growth, sales, student delivery, and operations into clear, working digital flows. You will direct junior developers, technical interns, and modern tools to ship features fast, ensure internal data is rock-solid, and keep our core operating systems running without friction. If you thrive in a fast-paced 0-to-1 environment, enjoy mentoring dynamic young talent, and love turning non-technical business needs into seamless digital solutions using modern tech stacks, this role is built for you.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Product Direction, Review, and Adoption:
- Vision and Lifecycle: Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap informed by market research and user feedback, managing the full lifecycle from ideation to ongoing optimization.
- PRDs and Visual Specs: Write developer-ready PRDs (problem, scope, non-scope, acceptance criteria, edge cases, success metrics) and produce visual representations like user flows, wireframes, and data flow diagrams.
- Release and Testing Cadence: Own the review and release cadence for student and Chief of Staff (CoS) applications, establishing structured testing frameworks (UAT, bug triage, severity definitions, and regression testing).
- Measured Adoption: Own app adoption as a measured outcome, i. e., defining activation, engagement, and retention metrics per user type, diagnosing funnel drop-offs, and running targeted interventions.
Dashboards, Reporting, and Decision Data:
- End-to-End Ownership: Own dashboards from user research and flow design to metric definition, build, and maintenance.
- Functional KPI Layer: Define the KPI layer for each function, including metric definitions, sources, refresh frequency, and single owners, so one number means the same thing across the company.
- Decision-First Design: Design around the decision a stakeholder needs to make rather than surfacing every available field, delivering insights that flag key movements, anomalies, and action thresholds.
Data Accuracy and Integrity:
- Single Source of Truth: Own data accuracy across every business source (app, CRM, operational trackers, forms, third-party tools) and document rules for resolving system conflicts.
- Data Flow Mapping: Map and document full data flows, where each field originates, transforms, and lands.
- Reconciliation and Hygiene: Build automated validation checks to catch mismatches, duplicates, stale syncs, and broken pipelines while enforcing entry-point data hygiene standards.
Automations, Workflows, and Stakeholder Management:
- Process Automation: Identify recurring, non-strategic work across teams and automate it, prioritizing by hours saved and error risk removed.
- Robust Tool Stack Workflows: Design, build, and maintain workflows across internal tools, building in failure alerts, checks, and escalation layers.
- Bridging Tech and Non-Tech: Translate non-technical business asks into scoped technical requirements, and communicate technical constraints back as plain-language trade-offs.
- SOP Documentation: Write clear, version-controlled SOPs with explicit owners for every recurring process you design.
Team Leadership and Intern Management:
- Manage, mentor, and guide technical interns and junior developers, coordinating sprint priorities, reviewing work, and ensuring high release quality.
What Success Looks Like:
- Accountable Outcomes: Features ship on schedule, solve real user/team problems, and drive active app adoption.
- Seamless Operations: Internal workflows run automatically with clear exception handling, freeing operational teams to focus on core execution.
- Reliable Data: Leadership dashboards reconcile with primary data sources, giving a real-time, trustworthy picture of performance.
- Empowered Team: Technical interns and junior contributors have clear direction, structured guidance, and high execution quality.
Requirements:
- Background: B. Tech / B. E. or equivalent technical / engineering background.
- Experience: 3+ years in product management, technical ops, or systems engineering in a startup, SaaS, or high-growth tech environment.
- Startup Mindset: Highly autonomous, comfortable with ambiguity, and ready to thrive in a hands-on, high-intensity 6-day in-office startup culture.
- People and Execution Leadership: Proven capability to lead, guide, and manage interns or technical contributors to deliver quality work on tight deadlines.
Tool Stack Familiarity:
- You should be hands-on and comfortable navigating the following core software stack:
- Automation and Workflow Platforms: Hands-on experience with equivalent software for building automated data flows and webhook integrations.
- CRM, Project Management, and Docs: Proficient in ClickUp, Notion, Linear, or Jira for backlog management, operational CRM structures, and SOP documentation.
- Product Analytics and Tracking: Experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, or Firebase for event tracking, funnel drop-off analysis, and product analytics.
- BI and Dashboarding: Proficiency in Looker Studio, Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau alongside SQL to pull, query, and validate cross-system data independently.
- App Infrastructure and Database Basics: General familiarity with modern web/mobile app hosting and backend environments like Supabase, Vercel, or Render, plus mobile build management (Expo/iOS/Android).
- Design and Flow Mapping: Ability to quickly draft wireframes, architecture overviews, and user journey maps using Figma, Whimsical, or equivalent tools.
- AI-Assisted Tools: Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e. g., LLM APIs, Claude, and ChatGPT) to speed up documentation, technical scoping, and workflow development.
