Materials Coordinator

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for planning and supervising the flow of materials between offshore locations and contractors' bases. The role ensures that every material movement is carried out safely and efficiently, in line with Company regulations and procedures, while meeting operational needs.

The position also acts as a link between various stakeholders, including operational sites, support sections, and the parties providing logistics, warehousing, stock management and computerised management system (SAP) services.

• Work alongside Logistics supervisors to manage the flow of materials among offshore sites, onshore facilities (such as the Subsea site and Jumper Site) and OMIR Vessels.
• Ensure that material movements correspond to the needs of the offshore teams.
• Take part in the reception, inspection and acceptance of SMR materials.
• Confirm that contractor materials dispatched to the field carry valid colour coding that matches the current colour regime.
• Verify that all materials, particularly lifting gear being sent to the field, hold valid inspection certificates.
• Guarantee that materials are delivered on time from the warehouse or the contractor's base.
• Join HSE teams in carrying out pre-mobilization inspections of materials scheduled for delivery.
• Collaborate with logistics, warehouse and contractor teams to confirm that equipment, its means of transportation and lifting operations comply with HSE standards and regulations.
• Participate in the reception of all materials destined for offshore sites.
• Request technical control from appropriate technical authorities or discipline engineers whenever required.
• Coordinate with the stock controller to register materials in SAP.
• Raise requisitions for services such as the transportation and repair of materials.
