Job Description
当社は元々、人工衛星のエンジン（推進機）メーカーとして立ち上がりましたが、現在はその確かなエンジン技術を強みとしたサービスとして「OTV（軌道間輸送機）事業」への挑戦を進めています。
直近では、OTV開発における人工衛星の要件検討から設計のとりまとめまでを、エンドツーエンドでお任せします。共同研究先からの設計の技術引き継ぎや、衛星バス（基盤システム）のコスト検討など、プロジェクトの根幹の意思決定すべてに深く関わっていただきます。
また、初回実証以降は本格的な事業化に向けての企画・検討にも参画いただく予定です。
・衛星システムの設計、要求分析、仕様策定、およびマージン（重量・電力・通信など）の管理等
・各サブシステム間のインターフェース調整、および技術的課題の解決
・検証・試験計画の立案と、実際の試験・評価のリード
・運用コンセプトの作成

Originally founded as a satellite propulsion system manufacturer, Pale Blue is now leveraging its proven engine technologies to pioneer a new frontier: Orbital Transfer Vehicle (OTV) services.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development of our OTVs-from satellite requirement analysis to overall system design integration. You will be deeply involved in core strategic decisions, including tech transfer from collaborative research partners and cost trade-offs for satellite buses. Following the initial space-demonstration mission, you will also contribute to strategic planning and business development for full-scale commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
* Satellite system design, requirements analysis, specification definition, and margin management (mass, power, link budget, etc.)
* Interface management between subsystems and technical problem-solving
* Formulation of verification and test plans, and leading execution and evaluation
* Development of the Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
Qualifications
・人工衛星、探査機などの宇宙機のシステム設計、開発のご経験
・全体俯瞰だけでなく、自ら回路設計、ソフトウェア実装、または構造・熱解析などの「手を動かす技術」を1つ以上お持ちの方
・複数名の技術チーム、またはベンダーをリードした経験
・英語での技術ドキュメントの読み書き、および基本的なコミュニケーションへの抵抗がないこと（ビジネス英語力があれば尚可）

* Experience in system design and development for spacecraft such as satellites, planetary probes, etc.
* Hands-on technical expertise in at least one domain (e.g., circuit design, software implementation, structural analysis, thermal analysis), beyond high-level architecture.
* Experience leading a small engineering team or managing technical vendors.
* Comfortable reading/writing technical documentation and communicating in English (business-level proficiency is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
・宇宙業界での実務経験、または超小型衛星などの開発から打上げ、初期運用までの一連のサイクルを経験した方
・宇宙機の熱制御システム（Thermal）、または電源システム（EPS）に関する深い知見・設計経験
・宇宙品質標準（JAXA、ECSSなど）や、信頼性設計（FMEA、FTA、セーフティ解析）に関する知識
・ビジネスレベルの英語力（海外ベンダーや打上げプロバイダとの直接的な技術調整・交渉経験）

* Working experience in the space industry, or hands-on experience through a full satellite lifecycle-from development to launch and early orbit operations (LEOP), particularly for nanosatellites/cubesats.
* Knowledge of space quality standards (JAXA, ECSS, etc.) and reliability engineering methods (FMEA, FTA, safety analysis).
* Deep knowledge and design experience in spacecraft thermal control systems or Electrical Power Subsystems (EPS).
* Business-level English proficiency, with experience in direct technical coordination and negotiations with overseas vendors or launch service providers.
Salary
想定年収：700万～1200万
- 月給：583,334円～1,000,000円（基本給431,599円～739,884円 固定残業代151,735円～260,116円を含む/月）
- 固定残業代制 超過分別途支給/固定残業代の相当時間：45.0時間/月
- 経験・能力を考慮し、当社規定のグレードごとの給与レンジに応じて決定

Monthly Salary: JPY 583,334 - 1,000,000
(Includes base salary of JPY 431,599 - 739,884 + fixed overtime pay of JPY 151,735 - 260,116 per month)
